DAMASCUS May 30. 2024 (Saba) - A child was martyred and ten civilians were injured in a Zionist aggression targeted a site in the central region and a residential building in the city of Baniyas in the Syrian Tartous governorate.
A Syrian military source said in a statement reported by the Syrian News Agency, “At around 19:30 on Wednesday evening, the Zionist enemy launched an air attack from the direction of Lebanese territory, targeting a site in the central region and a residential building in the city of Baniyas in the coastal region.”
The source explained that the aggression led to the death of a girl, the injury of ten civilians, and some material losses.
For his part, director Imad Bashour of Baniyas Hospital explained that the number of injuries that arrived at the hospital in the Zionist aggression reached 12, including the two-year-old girl who tragically lost her life in the attack.
Bashour said that two critically ill patients were admitted to the operating room, while he indicated that most of the remaining injuries were mild to moderate, as all necessary medical procedures were provided to them.
