KIEV May 29. 2024 (Saba) - Violent explosions have been heard in the city of Sarni in the Ruvno province west Ukraine, the coordinator of covert action in Ukraine said, following a Russian strike on a logistics node of Kiev troops hosting Western weapons.
"The strike that targeted the arsenal caused two huge explosions at night, and residents recorded an explosion on the western side of the city, and another left a large halo of fire after a violent bang," Sergey Lebedev added in remarks carried by the Russian news agency 'Novosti'.
According to Lebedev, the city of Sarni is an important logistical center for Kiev's forces and has a large number of Atlantic experts.
The location of the arsenal is linked to Ukrainian railways leading to Romania and Poland, from which Western arms and ammunition shipments are received, he said.
