HAJJAH May 28. 2024 (Saba) - The Women's Cultural Committee in Hajjah province on Tuesday organized vigils marking the 104th anniversary of the Tanomah and Sadwan massacre and expressing solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people and in particular in Gaza.
Participants in the vigils in Aflah al-Sham, Bani Mujmal in al-Meftah, and Fas in Bakil al-Mir, as well as at the Generation of the Quran School in Mansoura, Shahil, chanted slogans condemning the horrific crime that claimed the lives of thousands of Yemeni pilgrims.
The massacre was described as a wound to the nation that cannot be ignored, reflecting the animosity of the Saudi regime towards the people of wisdom and faith of Yemen, demonstrating a lack of basic humanity.
The participants reaffirmed their support for the oppressed Palestinian people and their valiant resistance in defending their land until the expulsion of the usurping Zionist entity from every inch of Palestinian territory.
They endorsed the steps taken by the revolutionary leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, and the armed forces in supporting and assisting the Palestinian resistance and honoring the martyrs among women and children.
A statement issued by the vigils praised the significant operations of the armed forces in support of al-Aqsa and the initiation of the fourth phase of escalation against American, British, and Israeli arrogance.
The statement emphasized that commemorating Tanomah and Sadwan massacre is an act of loyalty to the martyrs' blood and sympathy for their descendants and families. It called on all Yemeni women to spare no effort in supporting the fighters on the frontlines and the armed forces to continue escalating military operations in defense of the Palestinian people, land, honor, and national sovereignty.
The statement renewed support and blessings for the operations of the Yemeni armed forces in the fourth phase, urging the Arab and Islamic nations to fulfill their responsibilities in ending the ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people and implementing an economic boycott against the enemies.
