WASHINGTON May 23. 2024 (Saba) - US authorities found a suspicious parcel with blood canisters inside a street near the Congress.
The Hill newspaper quoted police in a statement as saying: "The Congress Police responsible for the Congress compound is investigating suspicious substance after a parcel with blood bottles was found in a street near the Congress and in an area where the headquarters of the Republican National Committee is located."
According to a statement from Congress Police, "Authorities have sealed off First Street and asked employees and other personnel to avoid the area... Noting that it is investigating to find out the source of the suspicious parcel and what substance is inside."
