BERLIN May 22. 2024 (Saba) - The German Foreign Ministry stressed that the idea of establishing an independent Palestinian state will remain firm goal of German policy.

The German Foreign Ministry pointed out that dialogue must be activated to achieve the goal of establishing an independent Palestinian state.

Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gare Storre announced today that his country will recognize the Palestinian state as of 28 of this month.

The Spanish Prime Minister also announced that his country will recognize the Palestinian state on May 28, noting that recognizing the Palestinian state is the only solution to enhance stability in the region.

"We have taken the decision to recognise an independent Palestinian state as a key political step.
