GAZA May 15. 2024 (Saba) - The Zionist enemy army on Wednesday withdrew from al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southern Gaza City, after operations that lasted about a week, amid clashes in Jabalia, northern Gaza Strip.
The Resistance forces launched the missiles at “Sderot” in the Gaza Strip and continued bombing throughout the Strip.
The Palestinian Information Center quoted local sources as saying that the enemy’s vehicles withdrew from Zaytoun neighborhood amid machine-gun fire towards the houses, heading towards the south, all the way to the Zionist army’s positioning sites in “Netzarim” axis in the middle of the Gaza Strip.
Palestinian media reported that the enemy army destroyed a residential square in the vicinity of al-Zaytoun neighborhood clinic before withdrawing from the area.
It explained that the enemy army completely destroyed al-Zaytoun clinic and four schools during the aggression against al-Zaytoun neighborhood, which lasted for six days.
The Civil Defense in Gaza also announced that its crews began recovering the bodies of the martyrs from al-Zaytoun neighborhood after the Zionist enemy forces withdrew from it.
Palestinian media sources reported violent clashes between resistance factions and enemy forces in the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip, to which the enemy army announced its return a few days ago.
Al-Quds Brigades announced that its fighters killed and wounded a Zionist foot force during clashes on Al-Sikka Street, east of the Jabalia camp.
As for al-Qassam Brigades, they reported that they targeted a Zionist D-9 military bulldozer with an “al-Yassin 105” shell at al-Ternis Junction in Jabalia Camp.
The Zionist enemy army had acknowledged the death of a soldier during battles in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, and thus his death toll rose to 621 since the beginning of the war on October 7, according to its claims, while the resistance confirms that the number is much higher.
In a related context, al-Qassam Brigades announced that they bombed Sderot with short-range rockets, while enemy media reported that two people were injured and a building in Sderot was hit by a missile fired from Gaza.
