RAMALLAH May 09. 2024 (Saba) - The World Food Program announced on Thursday the suspension of its operations in the Gaza Strip, due to the lack of food and fuel supplies. "Supplies in the Gaza Strip are sufficient for three days at most," he said.
Matthew Hollingworth, Country Director of the World Food Agency in Palestine, said on his account on the "X" platform that "food and fuel supplies in the Gaza Strip are sufficient for three days at most," stressing that "our operations in Gaza will stop if food and fuel supplies are not available."
"It has become difficult to reach our main warehouse in the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah," he said, noting that "only one bakery is still operating."
