DAMASCUS May 09. 2024 (Saba) -The Syrian Ministry of Defense announced that the air defenses shot down Israeli missiles launched from the Golan Heights towards the Damascus countryside on Thursday.

The ministry stated in a statement that "at approximately 20:03 in the morning today, the Zionist military launched an air strike from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting a building in the Damascus countryside. Our air defense forces intercepted the missiles and shot down some of them, and the aggression led to some material losses."
