RAYMAH May 04. 2024 (Saba) - The Governor of Raymah Fares Al-Habbari inaugurated today,Saturday, the ninth phase of distributing special vehicles and supplies for the disabled, the blind, and those with special needs at the level of the province’s directorates.
At the inauguration, which was attended by province Undersecretary Muhammad Murad, Governor Al-Habbari stressed the need to pay attention to the disabled and those with special needs and assist them through rehabilitation and educational programs that contribute to their integration into society.
He called on the supporting organizations, concerned authorities, and financial men from the province to support the disabled segment through the Disabled Fund, praising the efforts of the Disabled Care and Rehabilitation Fund in the province in providing services to the disabled and alleviating their suffering.
The Governor of Raymah expressed the readiness of the leadership of the local authority in the province to cooperate with the Fund for the Disabled and to overcome the difficulties it faces in providing the necessary services to this segment and rehabilitating them through their own projects.
For his part, Director of the Fund for the Disabled in the province, Ibrahim Shahat, explained that the ninth phase of the project, with the support and financing of the Fund’s main center, targets 450 people with disabilities in the province’s districts, at a cost of more than 15 million riyals.
He pointed out that the project includes 150 strollers, bathroom chairs, walkers, crutches, canes for the blind, and medical mattresses... praising the province leadership’s interest in the Fund’s branch and supporting the Fund’s main center.
