TULKARM May 02. 2024 (Saba) - The Palestinian Authority security services on Thurday assassinated resistance fighter Ahmed Abu al-Foul, a fighter from Tulkarm Brigade affiliated with al-Quds Brigades.
Tulkarm Battalion stated in a press release that the security forces targeted a car carrying fighter Ahmed Abu al-Foul, directly opening fire on him, and later announced his martyrdom after attempts to resuscitate him failed.
The statement emphasized that this crime is exactly like any assassination operation by Zionist special units, such as the assassination of Jihad Shahada, Az Al-Din Awad, and their brothers in Tulkarm, as well as al-Shishani and his brothers in Nablus, al-Saif, and their comrades on the Arabe road.
Martyr Ahmed Abu al-Foul was one of the sons of Tulkarm Battalion in al-Quds Brigades, and everyone attests that he participated with his brothers in confronting the Zionist enemy in every incursion into the city and Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps.
Local sources reported that a force from the authority's security apparatuses opened fire on young man Ahmed Hisham Abu al-Foul on Wednesday evening in the vicinity of the Peace Roundabout in the southern area of Tulkarm.
Abu al-Foul was transferred to Thabet Thabet Hospital in Tulkarm, then to Rafidia Hospital in Nablus, where his death was announced due to his injuries.
In response, militants from Tulkarm Battalion fired at the headquarters of the Tulkarm governorate and the security apparatuses after Abu al-Foul's martyrdom.
It is worth noting that Abu al-Foul was pursued by the Zionist enemy, having survived several Zionist attempts to assassinate him.
The Islamic Resistance Movements Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Palestine have condemned the shooting by the Palestinian Authority security forces against a group of resistance members in Tulkarm, which led to the martyrdom of the fighter Ahmed Abu al-Foul, from the ranks of the Tulkarm Battalion.
Hamas mourned the martyr of Tulkarm, the fighter Ahmed Abu al-Foul, confirming that the pursuit of the Authority security forces of the resistance in the West Bank is a political disgrace and a national downfall that serves only the Zionist enemy.
Islamic Jihad in Palestine condemned "the elements of the Ramallah Authority's security apparatuses for assassinating fighter Ahmed Abu al-Foul, one of the heroic members of the Tulkarm Battalion who are pursued by the Zionist occupation forces."
The movement affirmed in a statement that "this crime serves the Zionist enemy and is carried out to achieve its goals of pursuing, chasing, and liquidating the mujahideen/fightrers."
The Palestinian Authority was called upon to abandon its approach, which pursues mujahideen and protects settlers who attack the Palestinian people day and night.
