WASHINGTON May 01. 2024 (Saba) - Protesters in the US Senate on Tuesday demanded a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to a devastating Zionist war for more than half a year.
According to US media, this came during a hearing of the US Senate Armed Services Committee, in Washington, D.C. A number of protesters in the council interrupted the speech of Secretary of War Lloyd Austin, chanting slogans demanding a ceasefire in Gaza.
Protesters held banners reading "Let Gaza live."
Since the seventh of October 2023, the Zionist enemy forces have been waging a devastating war on Gaza with American support, which has left tens of thousands of civilian victims, most of them children and women, a humanitarian catastrophe and massive destruction of infrastructure, which led to the appearance of "Tel Aviv" before the International Court of Justice on charges of committing "genocide".
