IBB April 30. 2024 AD (Saba) - At Ibb University, the selection procedures began between 40 applicants who hold master’s and doctorate degrees in important medical specialties to occupy academic positions in the university’s College of Medicine and Health Sciences in accordance with the standards and conditions announced by the university.
The President of the University, Dr. Nasr Al-Hujaili, stressed that transparency in selecting distinguished cadres in the scientific and research aspects is an entry point for developing and improving the educational process in theory and practice, leading to the national and international academic accreditation that the university seeks.
For his part, the Dean of the College, Dr. Bashir Al-Amawi, explained that the distinguished cadres who will join the academic work in the college’s departments will represent a qualitative addition to the educational process and a culmination of the successes achieved in the infrastructure.
In turn, the Deputy Dean of the College for Quality Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Al-Mujahid, confirmed that the comparison procedures include offers for scientific seminars for applicants in the specialties of internal medicine and its branches, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, children, ophthalmology and surgery, dermatology, and other specialties related to basic medical sciences.
The comparison committees were formed under the chairmanship of the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Abdullah Al-Falahi, and the membership of the Dean of the Development and Quality Assurance Center, Dr. Ibrahim Haidara, the Dean of the College of Law, Dr. Bashir Al-Imad, the Deputy Deans of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, and the heads of departments.
