HAJJAH April 30. 2024 (Saba) - The Governor of Hajjah, Hilal Al-Sufi, was briefed today on the implementation progress of the expansion and restoration project of Raqi Health Center in Mustaba District.
The project includes the construction of the “first phase” fever building, and the restoration of the old health center building at a cost of $76,493, funded by the United Nations Development Program and implemented by the Abs Organization.
Al-Sufi, along with the Directors of Planning and Development, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Malhani, Works Muhammad Safi Al-Din, and the Mustaba Ali Kasher Directorate, were briefed on the construction work being implemented and the level of achievement.
The governor stressed the importance of completing the project according to the specified specifications because of its importance in improving the health sector in the district, noting the efforts of the United Nations program in implementing sustainable projects that address the needs of citizens, stressing the readiness to overcome the difficulties facing such projects.
The Governor of Hajjah and his companions also viewed the circular line of Mustaba District, which is three kilometers long and 24 meters wide.
He pointed out the importance of the ring line to reduce traffic congestion on the main street, stressing that there will be no complacency in taking the necessary measures against violators who build on the site of the line.
In addition, Governor Al-Sufi, Al-Malhani, Safi Al-Din and Kasher were briefed on the damage caused by the floods on Saiba and Raqi ferries in Mastaba.
The Governor of Hajjah stressed the keenness to put in place treatments for the two ferries that are located on the main line linking Haradh and Mustaba, in addition to Houth in Amran District, directing the local authority in the district to cooperate with the engineering team charged with assessing the damage and developing appropriate treatments.
