SA'ADA April 30. 2024 (Saba) - Sa'ada Governor , Muhammad Jaber Awad, along with the Governor’s Undersecretary for Works and Roads Affairs, Engineer Ibrahim Al-Nimri, and the representative of UNEPS (United Nations Projects), Saleh Soufan, today,Tuesday, inspected the progress of construction work in south Al-Sa’ila project in Sa'ada city, starting from Al-Rawda’s Sa’ila to Dammaj Tour Bridge.
They listened to an explanation from those in charge of the project and the engineers about the progress of work and the level of achievement in the stages of its implementation.
During the visit, Governor Awad confirmed that through the Southern District, many necessary solutions had been put in place, the most important of which were rainwater drainage, traffic management, and opening the road to traffic.
Governor Awad, Al-Nimri and Soufan also inspected the progress of work on Al-Talh-Dahyan Road maintenance project.
They listened to an explanation from the project consultant, Engineer Ahmed Al-Aqar, about the stages of project implementation and the completion rate, which reached 80%.
Governor Awad, along with the Director General of the Office of the General Authority for the Preservation of Historic Cities, Abdo Hassan Jatoum, also inspected the progress of work in the restoration project for the expansion of Bab Hamdan in old city of Saada's wall, which will serve the ease of movement to reach the Republican Hospital Authority.
The governor directed that the restoration be completed quickly and that its historical character be preserved.
