HODEIDA April 23. 2024 (Saba) - The General Electricity Corporation confirmed the continued work of technical and engineering teams to restore electricity to all Tihama districts in Hodeida province with the advent of the summer.

Director of the General Electricity Corporation, Dr. Mishaal Al-Rifi, explained to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the technical and engineering teams of Hodeida Electricity are continuing technical work in Al-Duha district.

He pointed out that work is underway on the 11 kV high-voltage lines to rehabilitate the transmission lines, raise and tighten the electrical network to the normal level, and add replacement poles for the damaged ones.

Dr. Al-Rifi announced that electricity will be restored to all Tihama districts during the coming period. He appreciated the efforts of the leadership of the Hodeida region , its technical and engineering teams, which continue to work to restore electricity to the people of Hodeida to alleviate their suffering as a result of the high temperature during the summer.
