RAMALLAH April 22. 2024 (Saba) - One Palestinian youth was shot with live bullets in clashes pitting civilians against Israeli armed forces in Shafat Camp, northeast Quds City.
The youth was injured at foot and was taken to hospital, WAFA news agency quoted local sources as saying.
In the Palestine medical compound, medics are dealing with six shot-injuries, the Palestinian health ministry said, after "enemy forces and settlers assaulted Barqa village," east Ramallah.
One civilian suffered critical wound at chest, four others sustained moderate wounds at chest and lower limbs, and the sixth was slightly injured at upper limbs, the ministry added.
The settlers attacked the village from northern and western sides, burnt the cattle barn of Nezam Ali, tried to set fire to his house and to storm into two other homes, and fired live ammos at civilians, chief of the Borqa local council said.
Enemy forces raided the village to protect the settlers, fired bullets and sound and teargas bombs at civilians and prevented them from stubbing out the fire, and denied civil defense access to the scene, Saiel Kanan added.
