HODEIDA April 21. 2024 (Saba) - A meeting held in Hodeida port, headed by Nasr Al-Nusairi, Vice President of the Red Sea Ports Corporation, discussed today, Sunday, aspects of coordination between the Corporation , the General Authority for Insurance and Pensions.
The meeting, which included the Director General of the Insurance and Pensions Authority in the province, Bassam Al-Sharmani, discussed the mechanism for enhancing cooperation with regard to linking the retirement statuses of all insured employees of the institution for the year 2016 until 2022 AD, with the General Authority for Insurance.
The meeting touched on the previous agreements between the Corporation and the Authority, the insurance plan for employees in accordance with these agreements and the procedures followed, the Corporation’s indebtedness to the Authority, and addressing all obstacles to ensure the preservation of the insurance rights of employees.
The meeting was attended by the Authority’s Director of Insurance Revenues, Abdul Rahman Muhammad, the Financial Director of Insurances, Adel Al-Rubai, and the Head of the Insurance Revenues Department, Hassan Al-Jamali, and on the Corporation’s side by the Directors of General Human Resources, Ahmed Atta, the Audit Director, Nasser Ayoub, and the Corporation’s Insurance Officer, Hazza Al-Bazzaz.
During the visit, he was briefed on the work carried out by the workshop , its affiliated departments and , in the fields of carpentry, aluminium, plumbing , turning of equipment and mechanisms for the operational movement of Hodeida Port.
Al-Nusairi noted the efforts made by the technical workshops at the Ports Corporation to achieve self-sufficiency in the work they accomplish without resorting to external workshops and tenders that entail exorbitant costs.
He was accompanied during the visit by the Director General of Piers and Squares, Captain Ghamdan Muharram, the Deputy Director General of Technical Affairs, Engineer Abdul Wahed Al-Saafani, and a number of the organization’s leaders.
