SANA'A April 18. 2024 (Saba) - The recent ambushes carried out by the Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, against the soldiers of the Zionist enemy, confirm that the Palestinian resistance is still able to surprise the enemy and strike him at the right time and place, which reflects the indication of its failure to crush the resistance or weaken its fighting capabilities.
Last Saturday, the Qassam Brigades surprised the Zionist enemy army with two ambushes in the areas of Al-Zanna and Al-Amal neighborhood of the Khan Yunis axis, killing 14 Zionist soldiers and wounding a number of others.
The first ambush, which Al-Qassam called "Al-Abrar ambush" occurred in the Al-Zanna area, east of Khan Yunis, during which Zionist soldiers and tanks were targeted from a distance of zero, and scenes - broadcast by Al-Jazeera - showed the deaths and injuries of soldiers and the explosion of Zionist vehicles.
In the details of the operation, the Al-Zanna ambush began when a Zionist force penetrated into the Al-Zanna area, so the members of the battalions targeted three "Merkava" tanks with "Al-Yassin 105" shells, and after the advance of columns of the enemy army to save the targeted force, they fell upon arrival at the place in a minefield prepared in advance, where they were targeted by detonating three anti-personnel devices.
Al-Qassam said its fighters killed six enemy soldiers who were torn to pieces as a result of the mine explosion, while a number of others were killed or wounded.
Al-Qassam pointed out that it re-targeted the rescue forces for the third time, as enemy soldiers fled the place and barricaded themselves in one of the houses surrounding the event area, to be targeted by Al-Qassam with an anti-personnel device, which led to the death of three soldiers, turning them into pieces and wounding a number of others.
A leading source in the Qassam Brigades said in a press statement that "the preparation and preparation for the Al-Zanna ambush east of Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip, for 50 days." "According to intelligence information and extensive monitoring, we determined the return route of enemy soldiers and vehicles and prepared the ambush," he said.
"What appears in the footage is part of the operation, and what happened that has not been documented is much greater," he said.
In conjunction with the ambush in the Al-Zanna area, the Al-Qassam Brigades announced another ambush in the Al-Amal neighborhood, west of Khan Yunis, in which five Zionist enemy soldiers were killed from a distance of zero, others were wounded, and a personnel carrier was destroyed by a "Tandom" shell.
Al-Qassam fighters also targeted another Merkava tank with the "Al-Yassin 105" shell, detonating an explosive device with a foot force, killing and wounding its members in Khan Yunis.
Al-Qassam pointed out that a fourth Merkava tank of the enemy was destroyed with a commando action device in the area of Hay Al-Amal.
Military experts described these ambushes as "qualitative and distinctive," indicating that the resistance still has military capabilities, controls the field, fights efficiently, and undermines the Zionist enemy forces penetrating into the Gaza Strip.
They saw that the scenes of these ambushes, which were carried out by the resistance with a precise military tactic in planning and implementation, confirm that the Palestinian resistance after six months of fighting is still cohesive, and indicates the military efficiency of the resistance in setting ambushes and the weakness of the enemy, which is random planning and movement.
According to experts, these ambushes were a shock to the Zionist enemy army after it proved its failure to achieve the goals it tried to implement since the beginning of the aggression, the most important of which is to harm the missile capabilities of the resistance, as rockets are still launched from the Gaza Strip towards the settlements of the cover and the occupied interior, and the ability of the resistance has not been touched, but the resistance has proven that it is capable of carrying out qualitative ambushes against the enemy despite everything that hit Gaza and its Strip.
These ambushes are in addition to a series of growing military operations since the start of the battle of "Flood of Al-Aqsa", which has so far resulted in about 604 Zionist deaths, including about 260 officers and soldiers killed since the start of the ground incursion into the Gaza Strip.
According to the Israeli army's data on its website, the number of wounded soldiers has risen to three thousand and 210, including one thousand and 560 since the start of the ground battles on the 27th of the same month.
According to the figures, 501 of the wounded soldiers were seriously injured, 856 moderately wounded, and 1,853 lightly.
