TEHRAN Apr 15. 2024 (Saba) - Public relations at Imam Khomeini Airport and Mehrabad Airport announced the resumption of flights at the two airports since six o'clock on Monday morning.
According to Iranian news agencies, public relations also confirmed the end of the suspension of flights at all Iranian airports that were suspended yesterday.
Earlier, the Director General of Imam Khomeini International Airport, Saeed Jalandari, announced the cancellation of flights from Imam Khomeini International Airport until six o'clock this morning.
Prior to this, the extension of the period for issuing flight notices was cancelled flights at Mehrabad, Shiraz, Isfahan, Bushehr airports and airports in the western part of the country until six o'clock on Monday morning.
Air traffic in Iran was halted in conjunction with Operation Sincere Promise, where the Aerospace Force, affiliated with the Revolutionary Guards in Iran, announced the targeting of the Palestinian territories and the occupied Palestinian territories with dozens of missiles and drones, in response to the crime of occupation represented by the aggression that targeted the Iranian consulate in Damascus.
