SANA'A April 13. 2024 (Saba) - The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning expects hot to very hot weather in the deserts , Tihama Plain, and scattered rain in several provinces during the next 24 hours.
The center stated in its weather bulletin, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that hot to very hot weather is expected in the deserts and the Tihama Plain, where maximum temperatures range between 38-42 degrees Celsius.
Scattered rain, sometimes accompanied by thunder, is likely to fall in parts of Sa'ada, Al Mahwit, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Ibb, Taiz, Al Bayda, Al Jawf, western Marib, Al Dhale' and the Lahj Heights.
The Center warned citizens in the deserts and the Tihama Plain of hot and extremely hot weather, and in areas where rain is expected to fall, of being in torrents and valleys during and after the rain.
It also warned vehicle drivers on mountain roads of the decline in horizontal visibility as a result of rain and fog formation, and advised against crossing ground bridges when torrential rains flow.
