BEIRUT April 12. 2024 (Saba) - The Zionist enemy forces opened today, Friday, fire on the Al-Mayadeen TV team while it was passing on Al-Adisa main road in southern Lebanon, which led to the media team’s car being hit by bullets, but no casualties were reported.
Al-Mayadeen said: The Zionist enemy forces opened fire from the Zionist “Miskav Am” position towards her team’s car, which led to its injury. ItOne martyr, ten wounded, and houses and vehicles burned in the settlers’ attack on the village of Al-Mughayir added: The enemy forces also targeted civilian cars passing on the road.
Last November, Al-Mayadeen correspondent Farah Omar, the photographer who accompanied her, Rabie Al-Maamari, and collaborator Hussein Aqeel were martyred in a Zionist raid that targeted them in the town of Tair Harfa in southern Lebanon.
It is noteworthy that the Zionist enemy targeted journalist crews in October 2023 with direct bombardment in the vicinity of the town of Alma al-Shaab while they were covering the situation on the border between Lebanon and occupied Palestine, which led to the martyrdom of Reuters photographer Issam Abdullah and the injury of others.
