OCCUPIED AL-QUDS March 24. 2024 (Saba) - 45,000 Palestinian worshipers performed Isha and Tarawih prayers Saturday evening in the blessed al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the restrictions of the Zionist enemy.
The Islamic Endowments Department in al-Quds reported that about 45,000 citizens performed Isha and Tarawih prayers within the blessed al-Aqsa Mosque and its covered prayer rooms, according to the Palestinian News Agency
For their part, eyewitnesses said that the enemy police tightened procedures at the gates of al-Aqsa and the main gates of al-Quds, and returned hundreds of young men and prevented them from entering al-Aqsa, due to the Jewish holidays that begin from Sunday.
It is expected that al-Aqsa will witness a central storming tomorrow by settlers to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Purim. The festive storming will extend until Monday and the enemy aims to prevent seclusion in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque tonight and tomorrow in order to facilitate the movement of settlers inside it.
The enemy deprives tens of thousands of citizens from the West Bank governorates from reaching al-Quds to perform prayers in the blessed al-Aqsa Mosque, in light of the military checkpoints surrounding the Holy City.
It also impedes the access of citizens from occupied al-Quds and from within the 1948 territories to the mosque, through military measures and barriers that it sets up in the surroundings of the Old City and at the gates of al-Aqsa.
