SANA'A March 17 2024 (Saba) - The Zionist enemy raised the ceiling of its illusions and dreams with what it called “absolute victory” for its usurping entity and the expulsion of the Palestinians from the Gaza Strip and from the Middle East as well, with the aim of occupying Gaza and forcibly displacing population from the Strip.
The reality on the ground is contrary to what the Zionist enemy dreams of, the number of deaths among the ranks of its lost army in Gaza has reached many times greater than it was during the aggression in 2014, due to the Palestinian resistance factions’ use of effective guerrilla warfare tactics and the use of an expanded weapons arsenal.
Through a large stock of weapons ranging from drones equipped with hand grenades to anti-tank weapons with powerful dual charges, and its knowledge of the terrain and an extensive tunnel network, the Palestinian resistance was able to transform the streets of Gaza into a deadly maze.
The Palestinian resistance continues to engage in violent clashes with the Zionist enemy forces in more than one axis in the Gaza Strip and to target settlements, with the Zionist aggression against the Strip continuing for the 162nd day.
The various Palestinian resistance factions also continue to confront the Zionist enemy forces penetrating the various fighting fronts in the Gaza Strip, where violent clashes taking place daily.
The result to date the failure of Netanyahu and his criminal gang, since the seventh of last October to achieve their goals of aggression “to eliminate (Hamas) and restore the Zionist prisoners.” Netanyahu did not achieve what he promised the Zionists on the contrary, the suffering of the enemy army increases day after day in the Gaza Strip.
In fact, what the Zionist enemy achieved through its aggression against Gaza after 162 consecutive days killing civilians, destroying the Strip, starving the population and killing them while they were waiting for the distribution of aid, and yesterday, Saturday, March 16, 2024 AD, the toll of the Zionist aggression rose to 31,490 martyrs since the seventh of last October.
The Zionist enemy used a war of genocide and ethnic genocide against civilians, and its persistence reached the point of using the weapon of starvation in the war on the Gaza Strip, causing a catastrophic situation facing all residents of the Strip, which the world not witnessed since World War II.
The Zionist enemy made various areas of the Gaza Strip uninhabitable by bombing homes and civilian infrastructure. At the same time, the enemy did not leave any safe place in Gaza.
The enemy also used hunger as a weapon to harm and kill civilians in the Gaza Strip, with American support.
On October 9, 2023, the so-called Zionist Minister of War, Yoav Galant, ordered his forces to impose a complete siege on Gaza, preventing the entry of food, water, fuel, and medicine into any part of the Strip, and so that the Zionist enemy prevents the United Nations or any relief organization from delivering aid to Gaza.
More than 335,000 children in the Gaza Strip under the age of five are at risk of acute malnutrition, with the risk of famine continuing to increase, and because of malnutrition, an entire generation is at risk of suffering from permanent physical and cognitive disabilities, which doctors call “stunting.”
The Zionist enemy has imposed a siege on Gaza since 2007, which has severely restricted the flow of goods. Because of the siege, and even before this aggression, half of Gaza’s population was suffering from food insecurity and 80 percent of them were in need of humanitarian aid.
Netanyahu and his gang from the Zionist enemy army insisting on attacking Rafah and spilling the blood of civilians, Netanyahu’s office announced that the plan to attack Rafah was ready despite international and American objections.
Rafah located in the south of the Gaza Strip, and together with its camps it constitutes the fifth governorate according to the administrative division of the Strip, the city’s area extends over 55 square kilometers, out of 151 square kilometers that is the entire area of the governorate.
It is located in the south of the Gaza Strip on the border with Egypt, and its population is 296,661 people according to 2022 statistics.
It constitutes the Strip’s gateway to the outside world, and the Rafah crossing designated for citizens’ travel through Egypt is located there, and the Kerem Shalom crossing designated for the entry of goods through the occupying entity into the Strip,and the remains of Gaza International Airport, which the occupation authorities closed in 2000 and then destroyed the runway in 2001.
Rafah turned into a reservoir for displaced people from all areas of the Strip, as the United Nations estimated the number of refugees to the city at 1.4 million out of 2.3 million total population of the besieged Strip.
The Palestinian resistance factions pledged to confront any Zionist ground invasion of the city, and that they, “as they always have done, will turn the city’s alleys, camps and streets into a graveyard for the Zionist invaders, and a crematorium for its vehicles, as the resistance does in all areas of the Gaza Strip.”
The whole world, except for the West, led by America and Britain, believes that the only way to end this Zionist horror and brutality an immediate and permanent ceasefire and the provision of unhindered humanitarian aid, and the only way to achieve lasting peace is to activate the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination, as people are witnessing the atrocities in Gaza, they talking about this openly, and politically organized groups are putting pressure on their governments and demanding a ceasefire and the provision of unhindered humanitarian aid.
It is time for governments to respond to these calls and exert real political and economic pressure on the Zionist enemy and its allies to end the famine and genocide in Gaza.
