SANA'A February 24. 2024 (Saba) - Member of the Supreme Political Council, Sultan Al-Sami, inaugurated today,Saturday, the Mawaddah Yemen Permanent Exhibitions Festival for Productive Families in Sana'a, which is organized by the Mawaddah Charitable and Developmental Foundation.
Al-Sami toured, accompanied by the Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council, Dhaif Allah Rassam, and ministers in the caretaker government of the local administration, Ali Al-Qaisi, and the State for the affairs of the Parliament , the Shura Council, Ali Abu Haliqa, the State, Ahmed Al-Ali, the Secretary of the Capital, Hamoud Muhammad Abbad, and the head of the General Authority for Endowments, Abdul Majeed Al-Houthi, with pavilions and sections of permanent exhibitions that contain food products, clothes, accessories of all kinds, bags, perfumes, incense, detergents, and handicrafts produced and worked by productive families.
At the inauguration, a member of the Supreme Political Council pointed out the importance of these exhibitions to introduce the products and industries of productive families to support and encourage them.
He stressed the support of the state and the government for these local exhibitions, which contribute to promoting local products and contribute to improving the living conditions of productive families on the path to achieving self-sufficiency.
For his part, the Mayor of the Capital pointed out the need for concerted efforts between all state agencies, the government, the private sector and businessmen to support and encourage local products in order to achieve self-sufficiency.
He stressed the support of the leadership of the Municipality of the Capital to hold marketing exhibitions and promote national products, especially the products of productive families, in a way that encourages this important segment, which represents a basic pillar of the national economy.
Meanwhile, the First Undersecretary of the Capital Municipality, Khaled Al-Madani, reviewed the importance of holding permanent exhibitions due to their importance and role in improving the income of productive families, giving them broader experience in the field of manufacturing , production, and encouraging them to improve the quality level of products.
He appreciated the support and sponsorship of the Supreme Political Council and the government for these activities and programs that concern productive families, which contribute to creating job opportunities and supporting the national economy to achieve self-sufficiency.
The opening was attended by the Director of the Prime Minister’s Office, Taha Al-Sufyani, the Chairman of the Public Authority for Small and Micro Enterprise Development, Ahmed Al-Kabsi, and the Executive Director of the Bonyan Foundation, Dr. Muhammad Al-Madani.
