OCUPIED AL-QUDS February 22. 2024 (Saba) - Over 300,000 Palestinian students of UNRWA schools in Gaza have been deprived from education, the UN agency's general commissionaire said on Thursday, following the Zionist offensive on the sieged Strip since 7 October.

Education of more than 300,000 of UNRWA schoolgirls and boys stopped suddenly, Fylyb Lazaryny added in remarks carried by WAFA, as the students face awful war and North Gaza schools were direly or totally damaged.

According to figures issued Wednesday by the Palestinian education ministry, 5,213 students were martyred and 8,691 others injured in Gaza, and 351 schools (including 65 run by UNRWA) were bombed and damaged since the Zionist aggression began on 7 October.
