TEHRAN January 17. 2024 (Saba) - The Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Forces, Major General Hossein Salami, confirmed today, Wednesday, that his forces thwarted the enemies’ plans, noting that the real power of the Revolutionary Guard is linked to the people.

Tasnim International News Agency quoted Major General Salami, in a statement, saying: As long as the Iranian people demonstrate sacrifices, unity and self-sacrifice, the Islamic Republic of Iran will not be threatened by any danger.

The enemies of Islam and Iran have in mind the idea of turning this Muslim country into a backward country mired in crises, he added.

By relying on Islam and the Holy Qur’an and implementing the directives of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the Iranian people were able to thwart this aggressive plan, he continued, saying.
