GAZA December 05. 2023 (Saba) - The representative of the World Health Organization in the Palestinian Territories, Richard Peppercorn, said today, Tuesday, that the situation in the Gaza Strip is getting worse every hour as the Zionist entity intensifies the bombing of the south around the cities of Khan Yunis and Rafah.

Palestinian media quoted Peppercorn as saying that “the situation is getting worse every hour,” and that “the bombing is intensifying everywhere, including the southern areas of Khan Yunis and even Rafah.”

He stressed that humanitarian aid reaching Gaza is "very little," and that the World Health Organization is deeply concerned about the weakness of the health system in the densely populated Strip as more people move south to escape the bombing.

He said, "I want to make clear that we are facing a growing humanitarian catastrophe."
