GAZA December 05. 2023 (Saba) - The United Nations said on Tuesday that it is “impossible” to create so-called safe areas for civilians to flee to inside the Gaza Strip amid the Zionist bombing campaign.
Palestinian media quoted United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) spokesman James Elder, saying, "The so-called safe zones...are illogical and not possible, and I believe the authorities are aware of this."
A UNICEF spokesman said that children in the Gaza Strip arrive at hospitals with broken bones and shrapnel penetrating their bodies, and they live without food or water for days.
He pointed out that people in Gaza need water, food and medicine urgently.
He pointed out that hospitals in Gaza have become war zones and battlefields, stressing that there are very difficult conditions in providing aid inside Gaza, and the situation is now bleak and deadly.
He stressed that the intensity of the bombing hinders the provision of humanitarian aid inside Gaza, and there is a lack of clean water and food.
He added, "If the destruction in Gaza continues, polarization around the world will increase."
