RAYMAH November 29. 2023 (Saba) - A meeting in Raymah Governorate, headed by the governor’s local secretary-general, Hassan Al-Omari, discussed on Wednesday, the work plan of the fish wealth office in the governorate.
During the meeting, the Director of the Fisheries Wealth Office in the governorate, Yahya Al-Muntaser, reviewed the office’s first plan, which includes quality control and activating fish activity by establishing a central market in the governorate’s capital with 57 fixed and mobile points in the governorate and districts.
The Secretary-General of the governorate's local district emphasized the importance of the fish sector in the governorate to organize and develop fish selling activity, control its prices, and improve its quality in a way that ensures the safety and protection of the consumer in the governorate center and the districts.
He appreciated the efforts made by the Ministry of Fisheries to develop the fish sector in the governorate, noting the local authority’s keenness to encourage investments in the fish sector, in a way that meets the requirements and needs of citizens.
