SANA'A November 29. 2023 (Saba) - The Speaker of the Parliament, Yahya Ali Al-Ra'i, sent on Wednesday a cable of congratulations to the Revolution Leader, Mr. Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, the Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, members of the Council, and all the Yemeni people and the Armed Forces and Security on the occasion of the 30th Independence Day of November.
Al-Ra'i, in his name and on behalf of the Presidency and members of the House of Representatives and its General Secretariat, expressed the highest congratulations and best wishes on this national occasion... pointing out the importance that the anniversary of independence represents for the Yemeni people in liberating and getting rid of the domination and tutelage of old colonialism, and drawing lessons and to confront the plans and machinations of the old and new colonial tools of America and Britain to plunder the wealth and capabilities of free countries and peoples.
He called on everyone to unite, close ranks, and confront the suspicious movements of the colonial powers, the American-British-French-Zionist arrogance and their tools in the region.
Al-Ra'i pointed out the massacres and genocidal war that the Palestinian people are being subjected to in Gaza at the hands of the Zionist warlords. Pointing out that Britain was the one that enabled the Zionists to occupy the Palestinian territories, in the worst nakba, disaster and crime against humanity.
He prayed to God Almighty to return this occasion to the Yemeni people and the Arab and Islamic nation, now that victory has been completed and the invaders and occupiers have been defeated.
