BETHLEHEM November 21. 2023 (Saba) - Member of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas Izzat al-Rishq, has revealed that there are still no final details over the prisoner deal.
The Palestinian Ma'an Agency quoted al-Rishq as saying “There are currently no final details regarding the deal. Netanyahu is delaying the prisoner exchange deal and lying to all parties. Every prisoner exchange deal must be accompanied by a ceasefire.”
The official Zionist Broadcasting Authority reported on Monday evening that the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had given the green light to implement a prisoner exchange deal with Hamas.
The broadcasting authority said, “A prisoner exchange agreement is imminent,” adding “Hamas has communicated a proposal in recent days, and from what we have learned, Israel has agreed to accept the conditions and demands... and now the ball has moved to Hamas’ court again, and the latter must show responsibility and seriousness to reach the agreement."
The talk is about Hamas releasing about 50 Israeli detainees, most of whom are mothers and children.
In return, the Zionist entity will release Palestinian women and children who have been languishing in its prisons, some of them for many years, and most of whom are not affiliated with Hamas, according to some leaks.
In addition to the exchange, there is a five-day truce during which batches of Zionist detainees will be released every day, in addition to the 50 who will be exchanged with Palestinian male and female prisoners.
