BAGHDA November 12. 2023 (Saba)-An Iraqi government source revealed on Sunday that discussions were being conducted by the Iraqi government to reduce oil production after the decisions of the Arab-Islamic Summit on Gaza.
The source said in a statement to "Russia Today": "The Iraqi Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, met yesterday, Saturday, with the Minister of Oil and his energy and economic advisors to discuss making a decision to reduce oil exports by one million barrels per day from the allocated export quota."
The source added: "This decision may be taken due to the failure of the Arab Islamic Summit to reach effective decisions to stop the fire in Gaza."
