BEIRUT November 12. 2023 (Saba) - Resistance is now at the position of action and will stay there in order to guard the nation and people, deputy of Hezbollah executive council, Hashim Safiaddeen, said on Sunday.
Weapons are still in our hands so as to encounter an enemy that cannot be assured of, al-Mayadeen quoted Hezbollah official as saying in a speech to an eulogy in Beirut's Southern Suburb.
Zionist aggression experienced by Gaza for more than a month now means that "no power in the World can be relied on for protection, since we're facing an enemy that knows no value... We respond to the enemy by confirming that we would foster our missile capacities."
Peace and security are made only by "our weapons, blood and resources," he added, reiterating Hezbollah's adherence to the equation of 'killing is faced with killing, and a civilian [loss] is in return for a civilian."
Unless deterred by this resistance-imposed equation, the Zionist enemy could not hesitate to damage and revenge on Lebanon, according to Safiaddeen.
"If its crimes' aim is to terrify us, the enemy should know that these scenes make people more adherent to resistance, in order to deter it," he argued, as "no one in this world can stop resistance expansion in our region.
"Resistance is the guarantee, the so-called great powers - that promote the two-state solution - can't be relied on, and the mujahedeen in Gaza are who would win the battle on the ground and decide the future with better condition for their interest."
The Zionist enemy secured political coverage from the US in order to kill and target everything in Gaza, where "experience proves that resistance is the most useful" asset to depend on.
"Hamas will live on, resistance will become stronger, and buildings and hospitals will be better than before," Hezbollah official said.
