GAZA November 12. 2023 (Saba) - The Director General of Hospitals in the Gaza Strip, Dr. Muhammad Zaqout, called on Egypt, to move ambulances immediately to the Al-Shifa complex to rescue patients and displaced persons trapped there.
The Palestinian Information Centre quoted Zaqout at a press conference at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis on Sunday, saying: "There is no safe place in and around the Al-Shifa medical complex and no access to the bodies of martyrs".
He drew attention to the accumulation of garbage, medical waste, lack of water and power outages. Warning that it threatens everyone's life.
He stressed that some 15 thousand people displaced in the Al-Shifa medical complex were at risk, as well as 650 patients and wounded children 36 their lives in danger, demanding that Egypt save their lives.
Many sick children were at risk of dying as a result of the forced eviction of Rantisi hospitals.
