SANA'A October 22.2023 (Saba) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, on Sunday stressed the importance of supporting agricultural researchers to produce researches that contribute to the development of agriculture in Yemen to achieve food security and self-sufficiency.

This came during the President's meeting with the Supreme Political Council's member Muhammad Al-Nuaimi and Secretary of the Council, Dr. Yasser Al-Houri.

During the meeting, Al-Nuaimi presented a report on his visit to Dhamar, Hodeida, and Rayma provinces, highlighting the challenges and problems facing the agricultural sector in Yemen and the proposed solutions.

For his part, Dr. Al-Houri reviewed a report on the sector's performance, obstacles, and strategies to implement the 1445 AH plan.
