GAZA October 08.2023 (Saba) - Friday evening, the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine concluded activities commemorating the 36th anniversary of its launch with a massive public festival west of Gaza City bearing the slogan “Martyrs are tidings of victory,” with the participation of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians and all Palestinian resistance factions, amid chants and expressions of support and support for the Islamic Jihad Movement and its Secretary-General, Mr. Ziad. Al-Nakhalah and its military wing, the Al-Quds Brigades.
The huge crowd that participated in the launch of the Islamic Jihad movement carried several messages to the enemy and friend, stating that it was united around the resistance and that it was following the path of martyrs and prisoners until the liberation of all of Palestine.
On the sidelines of the festival, the correspondent of the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) interviewed the media spokesman for the Islamic Jihad Movement, Musab Al-Braim, who confirmed that the most important thing that distinguishes the festival of the jihadi launch of the Islamic Jihad Movement today is that it is the festival of the Palestinian people and the festival of national and Islamic unity.
Al-Braim added: The festival included pictures bearing political symbols of the symbols of the Palestinian people and resistance and symbols of the entire axis of resistance at the nation level, indicating that this confirms the depth of the relationship between the leadership of the Islamic Jihad movement and the components of the nation and the components of the Palestinian people.
Al-Braim explained that the massive festival had a big title, which was the title of Jerusalem, which was embodied in the model of the Mughrabi Gate on the platform. It also confirms one of the titles of the jihad of the Palestinian people, which is that Jerusalem is the engine of all battles and the doctrine of the mujahideen from the sons of the Al-Quds Brigades and the Palestinian resistance.
He continued: "The festival also had a big title, which is the tank of the guerrillas and martyrdom, which is represented by the gate of the Jenin camp, to emphasize the role of the martyrs from the Al-Quds Brigades and the role of the mujahideen, which is still present."
The Jihad’s media spokesman said: “Our message is that Islamic Jihad has become a difficult number in managing the battle and that it is a great symbol of national unity and Islamic unity, and that it is the secret word for arranging and coordinating resistance efforts at the level of the entire axis, and at the level of the Palestinian people, to confront aggression and the danger of the Zionist project at the level of the nation.” ".
During the festival, the supreme leadership body of the prisoners of the Islamic Jihad movement in Palestine called on the fighters of the resistance axis and the Palestinian resistance, led by the “Al-Quds Brigades,” to work hard to liberate the prisoners and set a time limit for breaking their shackles.
In a speech during the festival delivered by the liberated prisoner Ramez Al-Halabi, the supreme leadership body of the prisoners of the Jihad movement called on the valiant resistance factions, each in its own name, to spare no effort in preserving the burning flame of resistance in Jenin and the rest of the West Bank, since the West Bank is the spearhead of the resistance, and if it breaks, all resistance will be broken.
The leadership body also saluted the people stationed in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and called on them to have more patience and determination. The body called on the masses of the nation, who still carry Palestine in their hearts with love and the cause, to fight normalization and its people, and not to be stingy in supporting the Palestinian resistance, even by supplication.
The commission said: “It is shameful and disgraceful to the nation of a billion that more than five thousand children, women and men remain subjected to torment at the hands of the Zionists.”
The Commission added: “The enemy thought that he had captured us, and the absence of our heroes in prisons would break the sword of our resistance and discouragement in our hearts, but we said it with the blood of our leader, the freed and deported prisoner, the martyr Tariq Ezz El-Din, that imprisonment only increases our strength and steadfastness, and what a wonderful progress this is for Tariq Ezz El-Din.” His children are martyrs on the altar of freedom, which is the best evidence of what we say.”
It is worth noting that the festival for the launch of the Islamic Jihad movement comes this year months after the Zionist enemy army assassinated most of the members of the Military Council of the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the movement, during the battles of Revenge of the Free People and Unity of the Squares.
