Tasnim International News Agency said "Ababil" ballistic missile is similar in terms of appearance to "Zuhair" missile of the Air Force - Space Force of the Revolutionary Guards, with a range of 86 km.
It explained that the length of Ababil ballistic missile is 3.7 meters, it weighs 240 kg, and its warhead is estimated at 45 kg. One of the advantages of this Iranian missile is that it can be equipped with a ground-based visual search system.
It is noteworthy that Russian Minister of Defense Lieut. Sargei Shvigo visited the Iranian pavilion held within the Russian International Show of Military Industries 2023 where he learned about the latest defense achievements of the Islamic Republic.
It is noteworthy that the Iranian defense and military industries sector is actively participating in the Moscow International Military Show, which started on Monday and continues until August 20.
This Show, which is located west of the Russian capital, Moscow, includes, in its current session, about 1,500 domestic defense companies and 85 foreign companies from seven different countries.
