NABLUS July 17. 2023 (SABA) - On Monday evening, extremist settlers attacked Palestinian citizens' vehicles in the town of Hawara, south of Nablus.
Settlers deployed along the President's Hawara Street to protect Zionist enemy forces and attacked Palestinian vehicles passing by stones, settlement file official Ghassan Dagles, northern West Bank, told the Palestinian news agency.
He added that a number of settlers had been present in the area of Al-Manshara near the village of Barqa, north-west of Nablus, amid fears of attacks against citizens in the area.
In the same context, the enemy forces have stressed their military actions on the barriers surrounding the city of Nablus.
Local sources reported that enemy forces had closed Hawara barrier to citizens in both directions, while vehicles were stopped and searched at the Sra 'a checkpoint west, causing a stifling traffic crisis.
