BEIRUT July 16. 2023 (Saba) - leaders of Amal Movement and Hezbollah in the Lebanese Bekaa region on Sunday affirmed that "the beginning of getting out of the presidential vacuum and the political impasse in which Lebanon is floundering is the sincere and deep dialogue that must prevail."
A joint statement, reported by Al-Manar website Sunday, said “Dialogue must be without preconditions between the Lebanese, which the national duo has always emphasized, leading to the election of a president whose election constitutes the beginning of solutions to the political, economic and financial problems that plague Lebanon during the current stage.”
The statement added "The permanent and effective response to the aggressive Zionist practices that violate Lebanese sovereignty at many points on the Lebanese-Palestinian border is through the triple deterrence that protects the country and the people, the triple army, the people and the resistance."
He continued 'At the gates of a great and solemn occasion at the beginning of the holy month of Muharram, the memory of Ashura, with its sublime values and immortal lessons that reject all injustice, occupation and tyranny, those gathered stress coordination and full integration in commemorating this glorious memory in all the villages and towns of the Loyal Bekaa, And showing rituals of grief and loyalty to the master of the martyrs, Imam al-Hussain ibn Ali.
