MOSCOW July 10. 2023 (Saba) - Special Representative of the President of Russia for Syrian Settlement Affairs Alexander Lavrentiev on Sunday expected a meeting between Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
According to the Iranian Tasnim Agency, Lavrentiev had confirmed the possibility of holding a meeting that brings together the Syrian and Turkish presidents after completing the roadmap for normalizing Syrian-Turkish relations.
He pointed out that the process of normalization between Syria and Turkey has not slowed down, but, on the contrary, is "evolving with time.
