OCCUPIED AL-QUDS June 11. 2023 (Saba) - The Higher Islamic Authority in al-Quds on Sunday warned of the danger of the settlement projects led by extremist Likud party that target the blessed al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Ma'an news agency quoted the Authority in a statement as saying "This dangerous project exposes al-Aqsa to loss and the imposition of the Zionist occupation policy on the mosque."
The Authority stressed that the danger of these projects lies in the actual spatial division of al-Aqsa Mosque, warning that this project aims to end the role and work of the Islamic endowments in it, and seeks to allow the Jews to violate the sanctity of sanctities.
It referred to necessary steps in the context of the movement to protect al-Aqsa by preventing the entry of settlers who attack the mosque, and the return of the effective guard of the Endowments Department in al-Quds with the need to activate the role of scholars and preachers to carry out their awareness-raising role in this regard.
The Authority held the Arab and Islamic countries to bear their full responsibilities towards the blessed al-Aqsa Mosque, as it is “a trust in their necks.”
