TEHRAN June 11. 2023 (Saba) - The ground forces of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards have successfully tested a drone -40 which is capable of using different types of ammunition.
Tasnim International News Agency said the forces of the Revolutionary Guards have successfully tested a quadcopter grenade launcher capable of using different types of ammunition.
This aircraft was designed and produced by the experts of the Self-Sufficiency Foundation in the Ground Forces of the Revolutionary Guards as part of Project 40.
According to the agency, the light aircraft can carry a bomb weighing seven kilograms and drop it on the target from a height of 500 meters.
In addition, the new Revolutionary Guard aircraft are capable of carrying ten small grenades and throwing them simultaneously at different targets.
Helicopters or (quadcopters) are among the models of drones that are equipped with more than two engines to take off and these aircraft are a suitable option for special operations units due to their ability to land and take off vertically and their ease of use.
