HAJJAH Jun 01. 2023 (Saba) - Dr. Ibrahim Al-Ashwal, head of the Republican Hospital Authority, Hajjah, discussed with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) health official, " Tom Ojwal," ways to enhance coordination to improve medical services in the authority.

The meeting, which included the water official of the ICRC, Merla Soqin, and the protection and health coordinators, Maher Mathkour and Hani Al-Wadaei, reviewed the needs of the authority's dialysis center and the possibility of the committee's contribution to relieving the heavy pressure on the center.

The meeting touched on the role of the dialysis center in providing its free services to more than 180 cases of kidney failure patients and conducting 1,400 dialysis sessions per month.

In addition, Al-Ashwal and Ojwal were briefed on the services provided by the dialysis center for patients with kidney failure.

They were also briefed on the Authority's emergency surgical center, the level of services provided by the center to patients, and the possibility of the ICRC's intervention in supporting the center.
