SANA'A April 30. 2023 (Saba)- Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor handed today, Sunday, Major General Faisal Rajab a gift from the Revolution Leader Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, after his release according to the directives of the Revolution Leader.
The delivery of the gift of the revolution leader, which consisted of a personal weapon, a Jafri machine gun, a pistol and other things, came in the presence of the governors of Abyan Saleh Al-Junaidi, Lahj Ahmed Jreib, Shabwa Farid Al-Awlaki, Hadramout Luqman Baras, Al-Mahra Al-Qa’tabi Ali Al-Farji and the director of the Prime Minister’s office, Taha Al-Sufyani.
Bin Habtoor explained that this symbolic gift comes in honor and appreciation from the revolution leader, Major General Rajab, and his struggle and military record, pointing out that wars usually involve the martyr, the dead, and the prisoner.
"The revolution leader and the head of the Supreme Political Council, His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, and the government as a whole appreciate you as a respectable military leader," he said.
In turn, Major General Faisal Rajab expressed his thanks and gratitude for the decision of the Revolution Leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din, to release him and his high appreciation for his valuable symbolic gift.
