SANA'A April 21. 2023 (Saba) -Mahdi al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council,, received a phone call from Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi.

During the call, the Iranian president congratulated the Yemen leadership and people on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, expressing his deepest condolences to the Yemeni leadership and people and the families of the victims of the painful stampede.

Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi expressed hope for an end to the blockade on Yemen, an end to the war, and non-interference in Yemeni affairs.

The Iranian president also expressed his aspiration to visit Yemen and meet with the Yemeni leadership and people.

For his part, President Al-Mashat expressed his desire to visit the Islamic Republic of Iran, the honorable country and ancient people.
