SANA'A March 27. 2023 (Saba)- Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf Abdullah condemned the Zionist enemy's permission to re-establish four settlements in the occupied West Bank, which were dismantled and evacuated in 2005.
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Sharaf considered this step a continuation of the policies of successive Zionist governments that are working to expand the construction of settlements.
It leads to an increase in violence and violations committed by the Zionist occupation forces against the Palestinian people, and an increase in the intensity of confrontations in the Palestinian Arab lands, which threatens regional and international peace and security.
He held the Zionist enemy responsible for the expansion of settlement activity, as well as the responsibility for protecting Palestinian civilians as the occupying power in accordance with international law, especially the four Geneva Conventions.
Sharaf concluded his statement by calling on the UN Security Council and the Human Rights Council to assume their responsibility in putting an end to the repeated Zionist abuses and provocations and to the deterioration of conditions in the region and the rise in violence.
