SANA'A, October 21.2022 (Saba) - Yemen's armed forces announced Friday carrying out a minor warning strike, in order to prevent an oil ship attempting to loot raw oil, through the port of Al-Dabba in Hadramout governorate, after its violation of the decision of the competent authorities to prohibit the transfer and export of Yemen's sovereign oil derivatives.
In a statement, the Armed Forces explained that "this warning letter has come to prevent the continuation of extensive looting operations of oil wealth and not earmarked to serve the people of Yemen in what concerns the salaries of its employees and the improvement of the service aspects of it ".
"This warning message came after the competent authorities had addressed this ship and informed it of the decision based on Yemeni laws in force as well as relevant international laws, when the ship was treated with precautionary measures, we ensured that the safety and security of Yemen's infrastructure as well as the security of the ship and its crew. "
The armed forces confirmed that they would not hesitate to fulfil their duty to stop and prevent any vessel attempting to plunder the wealth of the Yemeni people,
with God's aid, it is able to launch more warning operations in defence of the great Yemeni people and protect their wealth from absurdity and looting.
It renewed the warning to all domestic and foreign companies to fully comply with the decisions of the Authority in the Yemeni capital Sana'a by moving away from any contribution to the plunder of Yemeni wealth.
