HODEIDA, Aug. 13 (Saba) - The agricultural season was launched in al-Tuhaita district, Hodeida province, in the desert lands capable of cultivating grain, within the framework of rain-fed agriculture in Tihama.

In the inauguration, the director of the district, Adel Ahif, called on farmers to use the rainy season to cultivate all arable areas, thereby contributing to the achievement of food security from cereals, in accordance with the Revolution Leader's directives.

Ahif appreciated the interest and support of the leadership of the local authority of the province and the agricultural committee in overcoming the difficulties faced by the agricultural sector during the past period, so that farmers could today launch the cultivation of desert land, expressing the hope of achieving significant results and obtaining a bumper grain crop.
