SANAA, Sep. 23 (Saba) - Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor on Wednesday stressed the importance of the World Food Program (WFP)'s humanitarian activity in confronting the specter of famine that threatens the majority of Yemenis as a result of aggression and siege.

The Prime Minister, during his meeting in Sanaa with WFP Yemen Deputy Country Director Ali 'Ziaei', expressed the appreciation of the government and its various institutions for the humanitarian work that the program carries out towards the targeted citizens at the level of Yemen.

The meeting discussed the program’s activities and joint efforts to overcome the existing problems and difficulties, so as to contribute to reducing citizens' suffering in the aspect of living.
