SANAA, Sept. 16 (Saba) – Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor on Sunday reviewed with Minister of Tourism, Nasser Baqazqouz, the situation of tourism sector and the challenges it faces due to the Saudi-Emirati aggression and siege on the country.

The meeting, which was attended by Governor of Socotra Island Hashim al-Socotri, focused on the Ministry's efforts to activate internal tourism and the role that the Tourism Promotion Board should play in this aspect.

The meeting touched on the general situation on Socotra Island and its archipelago and the national popular movement against the Saudi-Emirati occupation, which caused damage to the island's unique and rare natural resources.

Dr. bin Habtoor confirmed that the Supreme Political Council and the National Salvation Government stand by the local authority and the people of Socotra and support their movement against the Saudi-Emirati occupation in the Island.
